The student solders the electronic components to the PC board to gain ample practice in good soldering. By the time the student has finished building this non functional kit, he or she should know how to solder and how to identify various electronic parts. About once a minute, the kit will produce a 3 second long tone then remain silent for another minute before making another sound.
